FluShields Asks Experts If A N95 Face Mask Is Better Than a N99 Mask?

The difference between an N95/KN95, N99 and N100 respirator face mask is simply the filter's efficiency level (i.e. N95 = NOT Resistant to solids and liquids which contain oil and provides 95% efficiency). The higher the efficiency, the more particulates the respirator will filter out. But also understand that breathing becomes more difficult as you choose higher density filter levels.
Remember to safely discard your N95 respirator face mask, and make sure to cut the straps to protect animals from getting entangled, thus threatening their lives. Then place it in a paper bag, and put it into the trash. Recycle where possible. Wash your hands after handling the used N95 face mask or respirator.
