So "wanting to support my local country's economy not China's" is a misconception as when we purchase a product made in China we support also all the hundreds of people involved in the many steps it takes to get the product to your country and to your doorstep. We're talking about all the people working for the foreign and domestic shipping companies, the customs officials and logistic workers getting all the packages in and out of boats, truck, vans, buildings, containers, post offices, carrying boxes and bags from A to B to C and so on, and ultimately to your home.

All of us have supported our US or European economies by outsourcing to cheap labor to increase or maintain our middle-class lifestyle. However, the price we pay is the loss of simple manufacturing jobs that nobody wants to do other than our local cheap workers (in the US, Mexicans, Europe, Turks, and Africans).

The only reason we never noticed is due to the fact that companies pre-order products in high volumes into US or European warehouses to mitigate the shipping times. However, until Covid-19, not one company cared enough to produce any health products for their population. China produces 98%, Taiwan 1% the USA 1%, which was sold out in January. Big nations are completely unprepared.

Little do most people know, but 80% of all US and European products are made in Asia. Worse, all masks and filters remade in Asia because we took advantage of their super cheap labor. This is the only way our companies could keep selling to us for cheap. This has created our immense dependency that needs to change. We hope the Corona Virus will shake up our nations to realize we need change.

Unfortunately, as stated in all our product and term pages, sales are final due to sanitary regulations and extreme supply chain challenges.
