On Jan 11, 2020, was the first attack of the coronavirus. A 61-year-old man was reported dead due to the virus after he had visited the Wuhan live animal market. The speculations that the virus was from the market itself made a loud noise and alarmed the people residing in the area.

The whole world was still at ease during those times, since they never knew that this virus from Wuhan would infiltrate the globe. The first confirmed case of coronavirus in the United States was reported on Jan. 21, 2020. A 30-year-old man from Washington State was confirmed to be infected by the coronavirus after visiting the live animal market in Wuhan, China. Prior to that, the confirmed cases from Japan, Thailand, and South Korea were reported.

Given the alarming situation that the virus can widely spread, on Jan. 23, 2020, China imposes strict lockdowns in Wuhan. The affected area imposes aggressive containment measures, suspending flights and trains, shutting down subways, buses, and ferries in an attempt to lessen the spread of the Novel Coronavirus also known as ‘COVID-19’.

As of now, some of the countries in the world are experiencing the impact of coronavirus, and it’s hard to believe that this virus might lead to a recession due to the economic downturn.
